Evolution Robotics, Inc. (“ER”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy informs you about our privacy practices and the way in which we knowingly collection, use, and disclosure of Information collected via the website www.mintcleaner.com (the “Site”) and from the ER products available from the Site, including the Mint™ automatic floor cleaner (the “Products”). Your Information is used and shared only in the manner described in this Policy.
Definitions
“Personal Information” means information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
“Non-Personal Information” means information that does not personally identify you and cannot be used to contact you or identify you (for example, information about your computer configuration, Software/Site usage, crash data, etc.)
“Information” means both Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
Information Collected
We collect and store Non-Personal Information, such as visitor traffic, page his, site referral information, browsing patterns, technical information (e.g., browser type and version, downloads, and operating system), and general Site use information through typical Internet protocols and logging.
We also collect Personal Information via the Site, but only with your knowledge (such as filling out a submission form, email field or shopping cart). Several types of Site use can require that you submit Personal Information to us (for example, registering with the Site, downloading or purchasing a Product, or utilizing the feedback function on the Site). Use of Information
We use Non-Personal Information to better understand the use of the Site, improve and revise the Site based on usage, and for customer support purposes. We also use Non-Personal Information to track Product interest.
To the extent you have provided Personal Information to us, we may associate that Personal Information with collected Non-Personal Information and use such associated Information to improve and/or customize the Site, and to communicate with you regarding the Products, updates, revisions, and other promotional materials and product news that may be of interest to you. To unsubscribe from our mailing list(s), please follow the directions set forth within the promotional or other materials you receive from us or email customerservice@evolution.com.
We use Personal Information to confirm Product order(s) or as necessary to complete a transaction for you, as well as for customer support purposes.
Disclosure of Information
We may share your Personal Information with our trusted business partners, including those who may offer services that complement those provided by us and who assist us in providing services on this web site. We may also disclose Information to third parties who assist us in providing the Site to you and its associated services, including credit card processing. For example, we may engage third parties to make improvements on our Site, to offer new products, to provide e-mail and other marketing support, and to allow us to customize your experience on the Site. We also engage a third party company to validate and process credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for other purposes. International Customer should note that the database of Personal Information is retained by ER in the United States. In addition, the information may be shared with a third party provide, to support services for us as described in the paragraph above, whose servers may be located in or outside the United States.
Credit Card Security
Providing you with a secure ordering experience is a high priority. When you submit an order to the Site, we encrypt your order information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, when it is transmitted to ER and for credit card processing. Encryption is a process by which we use software to scramble information in transit.
The Site is also registered with site identification authorities to enable your browser to confirm ER’s identity before any transmission is sent. The identity of our site is automatically confirmed behind the scenes prior to the transmission of any customer information requested to complete an online order so that your data reaches your intended target.
When confirming an order to you by email, we reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
General
These general provisions apply to both the Site and the Software.
Questionnaires and Surveys
From time to time, we may ask you to complete questionnaires or surveys, which we use to obtain additional demographic information about our users, to measure and improve the quality of our products and services and to better assess your interests and needs. Sale of Assets
In the event that another company acquires all or substantially all of the assets related to the Products or other business of ER, we reserve the right to include Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring company.
Children
Our Site and Products are not directed towards children 13 years of age or under and we do not knowingly collect any information from children 13 years of age or under through the Site or via the Products.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
ER may change this Policy at any time by posting a revised policy on the Site.
